Younger generation lacking in DIY skills

New research commissioned by the Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme suggests that young people are more wary than older generations of undertaking some basic house repairs. Just over a third (37%) of young adults said that they knew how to replace a shower head, while 65% of over 55s would be confident with the same task. Only one third (31%) of 18-34 year olds know how to bleed a radiator, compared to 79% of over-55s.
